Day 30 - Third test, Day Two
It really was hot today - between 40-42 degrees. We were once again in Level 5 but jaysus, it was warm. I drank 12 litres of water and still got ocular migraine.
The England batting was a dismal watch. Only Brook(45), Stokes (83) and Archer (51) put up any resistance and we were all out for 286. Archer was brilliant and much better then a No.10. Today's neighbours at the game was the Grey family from Wimbledon who were equally as distressed as we were about England.
After the game, we met up with YJ's mate Richard from the Barmy Army. A pleasant chap and well mined as he was in Oil and Gas and was out in Tobago and Aberdeen for most of his career. He must have a few bob as he's doing all 5 Test with the Barmy Army. He's also taking his wife for a cruise around Australia later in the year to make up for his cricket trip.
We headed to the Lady Burra for some food and drink but this was so loud you couldn't hold a conversation.
When we got back to resume our Bond watching, Octopussy was on. This is actually not bad for a Roger Moore film!
